DragTree (the “app”) is a drag-strip Christmas tree practice app for Android. This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: nothing leaves your device.
DragTree is free and open source software, released under the MIT license. The complete source code is published at github.com/flyboy-byte/drag-tree. You can audit every line yourself to verify the claims in this policy. Issues and contributions are welcome via the repository.
None. DragTree does not collect, transmit, sell, share, or otherwise send any personal information, usage data, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or analytics anywhere. The app has no user accounts and no servers it talks to.
HIGH_SAMPLING_RATE_SENSORS permission is requested only to allow
faster reaction-time measurement.
Uninstalling the app deletes all locally stored data. You can also clear it manually in Android Settings → Apps → DragTree → Storage → Clear Data.
android.permission.HIGH_SAMPLING_RATE_SENSORS — allows the
accelerometer to be read at > 50 Hz, which the app uses to time your launch
reaction more precisely. No data is recorded or transmitted.
DragTree does not include third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. There are no third parties to share data with because the app does not collect data.
The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the “Last updated” date above will change and the new version will be published at this same URL.
